A Calm Demeanor Is Used When Coaching

Allen believes that positive reinforcement helps to foster a player’s confidence and encourage their play.  He wants to create better decision makers and establish a sense of personal responsibility with the players.

Allen wants the players to respect themselves, the team, the coaches, the opponents, and the game itself. This will establish an appreciation and passion for the game of soccer. Allen believes that every player has a hidden strength be it physical or mental. Give all the kids a chance, be patient, nurture each player, they will all flourish at different times so never give up on them. Some rise quickly, some rise slowly, but all will rise up at some time.

Allen has documented history coaching the game of soccer. Moreover, he has quite a bit of experience coaching boys and girls of various age levels. Most recently he has served as a volunteer coach for Bethel Park Soccer Association (BPSA). He has coached flights, ages 6 – 12, and travel teams for Bethel Park. He has coached club soccer for Beadling FC and Penns Forest FC. He has been the Junior Varsity and Ninth grade boys coach at Bethel Park and the Junior Varsity girls coach at Peters Township. Allen has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Sports Management at Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, PA. Additionally, Allen holds a National Coaching License through the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

Allen Duda grew up in Peters Township playing for reputable youth clubs, including Beadling FC, South United, and Penns Forest FC. In high school, Allen was recognized as an All-State, All-Region, and All-American for his efforts as a four year starter at Peters Township High School. He also has college playing experience at Westminster College and Slippery Rock University. His experience and knowledge of the game of soccer is undeniable.
